Ultravox og Japan var de to banda som samtidig gjorde at jeg falt pladask, og aldri klarte å reise meg igjen, for elektronisk musikk. Var stolt medlem av Ultravox Information Service på begynnelsen av 80-tallet... :D Platene er faenmeg like bra nå som de var da! Kongeband...

Helt enig. Ultravox - Rage in Eden, var en av skivene på vektskåla som kasta med langt inn i den rendyrkede synthverdenen.

Ultravox står helt øverst på lista over band jeg er helt desperat etter å se live. Hadde reist til Kina for å se de, om de kom sammen for en aller siste konsert.

Ultravox oppsummerer nåtiden/fremtiden med følgende fantastiske tekstlinje "The modern world evolves around the synthesizer sound". Det ble sikkert mer sant enn de trodde den gangen.

Gleder meg ekstremt til de kommer,synd at det ikke ser ut til å bli noen reunion(så vidt jeg vet,men man kan alltid håpe..). Har lenge hatt lyst til å se/høre Monument(det autoriserte coverbandet) live. Kanskje jeg må begynne å spare til 40års dagen min,og få dem hit?

Following recent speculation, we are very pleased to announce the most exciting Ultravox news in over twenty years - and you're hearing it first!

Warren Cann, Chris Cross, Billy Currie and Midge Ure - all four members of the 1980s Ultravox lineup - will come together for the first time since performing at Live Aid in 1985, for a UK tour in 2009. Entitled Return to Eden, the tour will kick off on April 10th for 14 dates.

Yes, you really did just read that. Ultravox. Touring. 2009. Stop pinching yourself; you're not dreaming... ;o)

Sånne remastringer er ofte en delt opplevelse, lyden blir ikke alltid nødvendigvis bedre. Noen som vet hvem det er som remastrer dem?

Ellers hadde jeg en veldig hard Ultravox periode i fjor vår hvor jeg spilte så mye Ultrabox når jeg var DJ at ene bartendern på Mir kalte meg Mr.Ultravox.

"We are very pleased to announce that EMI have confirmed the release date for the remastered Vienna and Rage in Eden albums as Monday the 22nd of September, 2008. As previously discussed in our news story in April, we have been closely involved with Ultravox and EMI in the processes involved in once again making these albums available, and we can now confirm the following.

Over the coming months, EMI are looking to release all the Ultravox and Midge Ure Chrysalis-era albums. These will be regarded as Remastered Definitive Editions, and the aim is for each of them to take the following format; Disc One will contain the original UK album, whilst Disc Two will include all of the B-sides and extra tracks taken from accompanying singles, plus (wherever possible) a selection of previously unreleased material. No specific dates have been given for the release of Quartet onwards, but we can confirm that the intention is for them to be released in the order in which they were originally made available."
